Our August 5th voting will be here before you know it!  Below are important dates to remember.  Although registering to vote has passed, those of you with vacation plans will need to note when absentee voting can take place:

Style of Election: Primary Election

Last Day to Register to Vote: July 9, 2014

Saturday Hours: July 5, 2014 & August 2, 2014

Application Deadline for Absentee Ballots to be Mailed to Voter: July 30, 2014

Deadline for Absentee Voting in Person in the County Clerk's Office: August 4, 2014

In my last post, I put who MNEA is recommending for the 2014 Missouri House races.  The recommended candidates in Boone county DO NOT have primaries in August, so you will NOT vote for them in the August primary on Aug. 5th.  Boone county will vote in the November general election for House seats.  Our candidates each have races then with their opponents.  I will post the issues that Boone County will vote for in the August 5th elections very soon.,
