What does this mean for CMNEA members? This list means that after screening the candidates in June 2016 by CMNEA and CGWMNEA members and being voted upon by MNEA state PAC Committee members- ALL MNEA members may publically support these candidates, and we are recommending that you vote for these *candidates in the August Primary election or the General Election in November. If you decided to attend events sponsored by these candidates you may wear your MNEA/CMNEA paraphernalia. As an MNEA/CMNEA member you will be asked to volunteer to help campaign for the candidate.

As an individual, MNEA/CMNEA Knows that you have the right to vote for whomever you choose to elect and attend any political event that you decide to attend. We ask that you do NOT wear your MNEA/CMNEA paraphernalia to these events. It gives the appearance that MNEA supports this candidate and may cause confusion with MNEA and the candidate. Thank you for understanding.  

* - Indicates that the candidate IS in an August Primary race. * - Indicates that the candidate is NOT in a race in either the August or General election because they ran unopposed.
